Country Netherlands
Years active Since 1998

Mormo, AKA Tomasz Kaye (1978, UK) is a musician living in the Netherlands who works primarily with electronics and software, often using home-made devices.

In 1998 the Mormo project began in Tomasz’s hometown, Huddersfield, and included his brother Joseph (in more recent years Joseph produces under the project name 16stages). The brothers would make music crouched around an E-MU sampler on the living room floor, and an Amiga tracker program running on the hijacked family TV.

In 2004 Papergoose records released the limited edition EP A Mouth Full of Small Barks. In 2006 Mormo’s debut album, Wasting 500 Sounds, was released on Low Impedance Recordings. Mormo tracks can also be found in various compilations and remix projects.
